WHAT HAPPEN IF THE SUN DIES ?

      The sun was born on 4.6 billion years ago. It produces the heat by converting hydrogen into helium atoms. This process is known as nuclear fusion.

 The sun is not immortal. One day it will die. i.e. the sun having only finite amount of hydrogen one day it will run out.

                   After the next 1 billion years,the sun will become larger in size (like red giant star) and it produce more amount of heat due to this the earth become more hot ,the ice caps and mountains will melt, the oceans will boil away and evaporate it causes greenhouse effect.

                          Around the next 4 billion years the sun will accumulate only with helium due to this the sun will become shrink. As a result faster nuclear fusion reaction will take place.



                           At that moment it is not possible to live on earth and the human will die due to the lack of water and excessive heat. Due to the modern technology, the life may form in other planets like Mars.
